Macro Mode
Macro mode is a setting on some digital cameras that allows the photographer to take digital photos of objects from a very close range and is great for photographing small objects in high detail.
Macro mode uses a special close focus mode so that items that are very close to the digital camera can be photographed without the object becoming blurred, this is great for taking digital photos of small items such as insects, small collectibles or any other small object in high detail. Most digital cameras that have the macro mode will state the maximum distance from the object that they can take digital photographs, if you get closer than this distance then the photo could blur so if this feature is important to you then try to get a macro mode digital camera with as small a distance as possible.
Using macro mode does make most digital cameras a little slower when it comes to adjusting focus so it can take while to get used to using macro mode, the main thing to remember is not to rush as if you move too quickly the digital camera may not adjust in time and the digital photo will be ruined.
