Panasonic make all kinds of electronics but they are not so well known for their digital cameras, they are however very good and well worth looking at if you are planning to buy a new digital camera.

It also has an anti-shake setting and face detection along with a brilliant auto mode that selects the correct settings for the current conditions.
PANASONIC DMC-TZ3EB This is a very small digital camera from panasonic and has an incredible 10x optical zoom and so you can zoom with a huge level of quality and detail. It also has a 7 megapixel rating and a wide angle lens and also has a large 3 inch LCD screen which is huge for a camera that is so small.
Panasonic are known for making top quality electronics with the latest features and their digital cameras are no different, they have high megapixel ratings and they also have lots of other cool features that make digital photography a joy. The megapixel rating is important as this dictates the detail in which the Panasonic digital camera will take digital photos, the more megapixels it has the more pixels it uses and therefore the more detail it can record. The megapixel rating does have limits though, for example when you go over 6 megapixels you are only going to be able to appreciate that detail if you enlarge the photo allot so for most people 5-6 megapixels is fine, if you like to enlarge your photos then a higher megapixel Panasonic digital camera is worth looking for.
Panasonic digital cameras also have great zoom options and often have a higher optical zoom than most other digital cameras, the optical zoom is the zoom that moves the lens and is better than the digital zoom which is a computer process that simply enlarges the image inside of the camera so it does not actually zoom properly. So having a digital camera with a high optical zoom is great as you can zoom in really well and get great detail, lots of Panasonic digital cameras have optical zooms of over 6 so you can zoom in on even distant objects and get good detail.

Most Panasonic digital cameras can also take lots of consecutive digital photos in a rapid burst so if timing is critical this makes things allot easier as you just hold down the shoot button and the Panasonic digital camera will take lots of digital photos very quickly so you will be much more likely to catch the shot than you would be when trying to time the shot manually. Panasonic digital cameras also include scene modes which makes it very easy to capture the perfect photo in your conditions, for example if you are taking the digital photo at night then you would use the night mode and the Panasonic digital camera would automatically take the digital photo with the settings that are best for night time conditions.
Most Panasonic digital cameras can also record video as well as photos and this is often referred to as movie mode, the video is recorded onto the memory card in the same way as the photos are stored and it is very easy to record video as it is simply a matter of selecting the video mode and then pressing the shoot button to start recording and pressing it again to stop. Most Panasonic digital cameras also have a microphone so that your video includes sound and this is a very nice feature as video is never the same without the sound, they also usually have a speaker included in the Panasonic digital camera so that you can hear the sound of the video when watching on your Panasonic digital camera.
